STILL LIFE: NO1, BOX » VICKI ARBUCKLE » WORKS IN SPACE.

A woman incarcerated in a wooden box performs a monologue to a son who may or may not be present. A second, separate voice speaking out of the same mouth offers a different version of events, real,exaggerated or fiction? The monologue to the son and the dispute between the two voices/selves are constantly interrupted by a series of disturbing sound scapes; distorted memory fragments.

The audience were able to walk around the performance space viewing the action from different perspectives. Still Life, No1: Box was first presented at Chelsea Theatre at Live 05.
